When Narendra Modi became Prime Minister of India, many celebrated his anionment saying finally India got strongest leader since independence. In the last one year, Modi asserted himself on all friends making world leaders and countries look at India in awe.
He as promised took some corrective measures asking his party MPS not to stay away from Parliament and spend time in library. He adviced them to go to their constituencies and work for the development. To the top of it he sent tough message by rejecting Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s son Pankash Singh ticket in Delhi elections. He also admonished MPs for not dressing properly and another for spending time in Five Star Hotels.
Opposition didnot get any chance to take PM Modi on for the last one year but with the completion of Honeymoon, Lalit Modi’s scandal hurt hard casting shadow over Sushma Swaraj, Vasundhara Raje. Simriti Irani’s controversy and Pankaja Mude’s scandal too is not leaving Modi.
In the meantime many started questioning Modi. MP Bharat Singh last month lashed out at the government for not showing any development. Keethi Azad too took on Arun Jaitley and RK.Singh too questioned Modi’s inaction. Senior leader Yashwant Sinha too attaked the government. Murali Manohar Joshi and Advani too came with shocking comments.Wonder how Modi will weather the storm.
