The on screen super hit Jodi, Nandamuri Balakrishna and Vijayashanti are going to share the dais in political arena. All thanks to the arch-rivals, Congress and TDP parties who have joined hands.
From 1984 to 1994, Balakrishna and Vijayashanti was reckoned as a successful combination and they have delivered some of the biggest blockbusters like ‘Lorry Driver’ ‘Rowdy Inspector’ etc. Later Vijayashanti entered politics and established ‘Thalli Telangana’ party. Until 2013, she was with TRS and in 2014, she joined Congress. On the other hand, Balakrishna became proactive in politics from 2009 in his father, NTR establish TDP. In 2014, Balayya entered the mainstream politics and got elected as MLA too.
For the upcoming polls in Telangana, Congress has appointed Vijayashanti has star campaigner while TDP is banking on Balayya. With the Congress and TDP forming alliance, both Balayya and Vijayashanti are going to share the stage and campaign on behalf of the grand alliance (Mahakutami).
Balakrishna has already got into the work and he recently toured Khammam district. As and when the elections announcement is made, the real campaign would begin and the political heat is certainly going to be high.
