Sye Raa @ 8 Minutes, 5 Weeks, 54 Crores

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming magnum opus “Sye Raa”, which narrates the tale of first ever freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, is turning all the heads now. After shooting relentlessly for some action episodes in Hyderabad, the unit has recently shifted to Georgia.

As the film needs some barren empty lands where the might army of Uyyalawada will take over the British, director Surender Reddy and his team decided to shift this particular part of the shooting to Georgia. We hear that nearly 150 members left from India to join this shoot as they are gonna film a battle. Guess what, the logistics and the numbers behind this planning are stunning.

This battle happens to be the climax part of the film and it will be nearly 8 minutes long. Producer Ram Charan, who has wrapped his Azerbaijan shoot and joined #SyeRaa in Georgia, is spending close to 54 crores for this sequence including that of visual effects. And it will be taking nearly 5 weeks time for the unit to wrap this sequence.

Well, if this film turns out to be a spectacle on the silver screen, then Telugu could surely boast a lot about its storytelling abilities on a larger screen in a fantastical way. Let’s hope all this hype helps Sye Raa join the likes of Baahubali.
