Apparently, the flop show of Agnyaathavasi didn’t go well with Jr NTR who is supposed to do a movie with Trivikram. He’s said to have exerted huge pressure on the top director to change the music director for reasons unknown. Despite Anirudh giving fantastic songs for Agnyaathavasi, its Trivikram and Pawan who failed to use them properly. Still, NTR is said to have expressed his desire to replace Anirudh with Devi Sri Prasad.
Now that DSP and Trivikram are not gelling out well, which happens to be the reason behind the director picking various new composers for his last two films, finally Thaman is on board. But a superstar like Rajnikanth hasn’t made his move basing on the box-office status of Anirudh’s films.
