Third Front : KCR To Meet Naveen Patnaik

Telangana chief minister KCR is leaving no leaf unturned to intensify the fight against Narendra Modi-led BJP. After meeting the likes of TMC chief Mamata Banerjee and JD (S) supremo Deve Gowda, KCR will now meet Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik in order to join forces against Non-BJP and Non-Congress parties to form a new political front. KCR will be meeting Naveen in the first week of May. Since the Odisha assembly session is currently going on, it has been decided to hold consultations in next month.

After announcing publicly that a new political alternative to two major political parties (BJP, Congress) is the need of the hour, KCR is exploring all options to unite forces against BJP, Congress. This is naturally giving jitters to the ruling BJP which is of late, is in news for wrong reasons.

As there is a huge anti-Modi wave riding across the country owing to non-fulfillment of his poll promises, BJP is a worried lot. Even the trends in Karnataka Assembly elections are not in favour of the BJP. This is in addition to severe flak against Modi in South India. Apart from this, there is huge anti-incumbency in North due to imposing of GST, demonetization. The fall of banking system, lack of cash in banks, ATMs is forcing people to think for a new alternative. All these seems to be coming in handy for KCR who is wavering a uncompromising battle against Modi.

Meanwhile, Mamata Banerjee is also working on forming an alternative front against BJP. She has already met NCP’s Sharad Pawar, Delhi CM Aravind Kejriwal and MPs of Shiv Sena and several other prominent persons to unite forces against Modi.
