Actually, Tholiprema and Premam have two elements in common other than belonging to the same genre. Both the films have the same screenplay of graphing a hero’s life at different times. While Premam dealt with three phases, Tholiprema got two phases of the protagonist shown.
But in Tholiprema we have the same couple meeting again and again, living up to the title, while Premam sounds more like a reality as life moves on in each phase like it happens in our own life outside silver screen. Varun Tej’s film gave much of good moments through comedy, while Premam has a heavy dose of heart choking elements, which is again pretty close to reality.
