1) Nannu Dochukunduvate: Sudheer Babu’s debut as producer hasn’t got the response that he expected at box office in its first weekend.
The film opened on a very weak note and continued to be on the weaker side through the weekend.
Although the word of mouth is average, the box office performance of Nannu Dochukunduvate so far has been very disappointing.
It is likely to end up as a failure unless there is a miraculous rise in collections in the coming days.
2) Saamy: Vikram-Hari’s mass masala cop entertainer Saamy failed to impress the target audience. It has been panned by the critics as one of the torturous films of the year.
The film is sold for high price considering Hari’s track record, but it is heading for a disaster given its performance in the first weekend.
3) Sailaja Reddy Alludu: Naga Chaitanya’s film directed by Maurthi had a strong opening weekend, but crashed on Monday. Poor word of mouth started taking a toll in the week days.
Collections didn’t improve in its second weekend and recovery looks unlikely as of now. It will end up as average in terms of box office performance.
4) U Turn: U Turn performance has been pretty average thus far. Despite good word of mouth the film failed to put up a strong show at box office.
Its performance has been below par in A centers and overseas as well.
5) Geetha Govindam: Geetha Govindam is racing towards the fifty days mark. The film has reached a milestone in Nizam by crossing Rs. 20 crore mark.
It is the first medium budget film to feature in Rs. 20 crore club in Nizam.
