Gone are the days, Media used to play strong role in moulding ideal society and bringing truth to comman man,But days are changed. Media channels are so keen in competing with each other in TRP race and increasing ad revenues. The latest example for this development is the ‘Tara Chowdary’ episode. TV Channels are busy digging up her past history and cooking stories about dark stories revolving her life. Analysts feel that these channels are trying to cash in the ‘Sex weakness’ of some weak audience. Some channels are allocating more slots for this kinda stories more than the slots created for the upcoming bielections.
This love for sensation and TRPs is killing the basic objectives of Media ethics.
