Chevella Ravi aka Bithiri Sathi is popular among Telugu TV viewers for his hilarious antics in the hit show ‘Teenmaar’. Sathi had made his silver screen debut back in 2007 with a small role in Allari Naresh’s Seema Sastri. He later appeared in cameos in movies like Winner, Nene Raju Nene Mantri and Raja The Great etc.
Bithiri Sathi is now turning hero in a film titled Thupaki Ramudu. The film is said to be an out and out comedy entertainer. Noted Telangana folk artiste and MLA Rasamayi Balakishan is presenting the movie, which is being directed by Bathukamma movie fame T Prabhakar.
Currently, Thupaki Ramudu’s shoot is underway in Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana. The film will release on June 2, to coincide with Telangana Formation Day. It remains to be seen if Bithiri Sathi will succeed in making an impression as a solo hero like other popular comedians.
