They took time to learn the tricks of the trade, but certainly a hit is still evading their course. Talented and handsome, Aadi and Sumanth Ashwin are the two heroes, the guys with amazing screen presence, refreshing sincerity, and time to sweat. But a hit is eluding them from a long time and even their recent releases haven’t given any solace.
Spirited to score a blockbuster this time, Aadi banked heavily on bold concept ‘Gaalipatnam’. But in the making, the movie became a toast of heavy duty sex, alcohol and double entendre. It incited excitement for film critics, but audiences haven’t received it well. Similarly Sumanth Ashwin expected tables turn in his favor with ‘Lovers’. Though the film garnered decent reviews, other comedy has dominated the scene leaving the young chap in same old position.
Only an astounding blockbuster will put these two heroes on the big chart, otherwise they have to swim rough waters as usual. Like what an Ala Modalaindi did to Nani, a Ready did to Ram, exciting and enthralling stuff should happen to Aadi and Sumanth. Hope the youngsters are on the way to catch up with the storm.
