Coated with ‘blockbuster’ talk, Aagadu is the reason to smile for many distributors and exhibitors. But in contrast, ‘budget’ rumors are dousing the positive vibes around this flick, when the latest released wallpapers of ‘Aagadu’ added more fuel to the fire.
Newly released wallpapers of Mahesh Babu and Tamanna starrer ‘Aagadu’ are featuring the logo of ‘Eros Entertainment’ at the top right corner. Trade circles that have seen this imprint are amazed, as to why Eros is back to business for ‘Aagadu’ also. Earlier, this Bollywood production-distribution company has purchased ‘1 Nenokkadine’ for a hefty price just before the release, and tasted bitter result at box office.
Some say that Eros entered into scene for Aagadu, as ’14 Reels’ has to compensate for the loss of ‘1’ still. Few however stated that Aagadu producer has sold stakes to Eros to cope up with the escalated budget of the flick. They say that original budget of Aagadu is 38 crores, but various changes in production plans pushed it to 55 crores.
Whatever maybe the reason, Eros Entertainment hasn’t seen bright light down south due to debacles like 1 Nenokkadine and Kochadaiyan. Hope Aagadu will shower them huge luck. Coming to these budget rumors, everything will die down if flick turns blockbuster.
