What did KCR do during YSR rule ?

TD Parliamentary Party leader Nama Nageswara Rao questioned the TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao what he has done about the Bayyaram mines when Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy was the Chief Minister.

Speaking to the media here on Saturday, he said when his party chief CBN was fighting on the Bayyaram mines, it was TRS which had obstructed him.

TDP leaders had met the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy on Saturday and asked him to refrain from the proposal of giving the Bayyaram iron ore to the Visakha steel plant.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Nama charged KCR of keeping quite when they initiated a discussion on the Bayyaram mines in the Parliament. He demanded that KCR should state with whom he had colluded. He had reminded that his party chief CBN had long back demanded that there should be a steel plant at Bayyaram itself, so that the iron ore could be utilized there. Stating that the Chief Minister had positively responded to their request of not to shift the iron ore to Visakha steel plant, Nama said they would not permit shifting of the ore under any circumstances. He said the Chief Minister had accepted their demand of setting up a steel plant at Bayyaram.

Another TDP leader Thummala Nageswara Rao claimed that ‘Bayyaram steel, Telangana’s right was the slogan of his party. He and Yerrabelli Dayakara Rao questioned why TRS had not said a word when YSR gave the Bayyaram mines to his son-in-law. Yerrabelli said they asked the Chief Minister to give clarity on the government’s stand on Bayyaram.

TDP MLA Motkupalli Narasimhulu has alleged that YSR had given 40,000 acres of Bayyaram mines to Rakshana Steels of his son-in-law Anil Kumar. He has reminded that the party chief CBN had already questioned the decision long back. He said they were now demanding Jagan to make a self-declaration about his properties.
