Say it Madhubala in Roja or Manisha Koirala in Bombay and Dilse, film making giant Mani Ratna always gave that stroke of beauty to the silver canvas with his penchant for picking radiant girls. Of late, he seems losing that eye for intriguing glamour and is now struggling to zero on a heroine for his next.
Ever since ‘Villain’ movie bombed at box office, Mani Ratnam is on the lookout for new subjects and actors. Surprisingly his ‘Kadali’ too awaited similar fate and his lead pair Gautham Karthik and Shruti Nair have failed literally to create magic. To avoid such miscasting, Mani now prefers already proven actress for his next that is going to feature Malayalam hero Dulquer Salman in the lead. Yet, he is unable to zero on one as the likes of Ali Bhatt, Nitya Menon and most recently Pooja Hegde are being heard but none getting finalized.
Probably there are various issues roping in these beauties and they are not jumping with joy if Mani sir sends them a call, as he lost his Midas touch at the moment. And that is pushing this master craftsman into huge confusion.
