Who Will Lose? Rangasthalam Or BAN?

Currently at the box office, while Bharat Anu Nenu is registering some average figures, Rangasthalam is holding very strong in some centres. And when these two are doing considerably good at the box office, Avengers: Infinity War has replaced them in many theatres already owing to the demand from kids and families. There comes “Naa Peru Surya” now.

With Telangana government giving permission to screen five shows a day, the whole of Nizam is expected to screen Allu Arjun’s action flick Naa Peru Surya in the most number of theatres. And in Andhra Pradesh as well, demand for this new masala entertainer is at a high. But to accompany NPS, some films out there have to lose theatres, isn’t it? So who is going to get affected?

We hear that Avengers will retain all of its theatres as the footfalls are tremendous even in B & C centres. Distributors are not in a mood to disturb that film from the theatres it’s running in right now. And then, Rangasthalam is still holding strong in certain centres, while in some areas the numbers are low. But more than this Ram Charan starrer, trade analysts say, Bharat Anu Nenu is posting fewer figures at few theatres. In that case, BAN is likely to lose more theatres than Rangasthalam as both the films are sharing an equal number of screens now.

And if NPS gets a super-hit to above-average talk, then the theatres where it replaced BAN and Rangasthalam will be permanently playing the Allu Arjun starrer for next four weeks. But if the talk is weak, then BAN and Rangasthalam might take it back. But there are films like Mahanati and Sammohanam in the coming days that could cash on the vacuum in case if NPS fails to perform.
