In the wake of reports that ruling TDP is trying hard to poach YSR Congress Party MLAs ahead of elections to three Rajya Sabha seats in Andhra, the opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy plunged into action to scuttle the TDP attempts.
Jagan and his party candidate Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy are holding talks with his party MLAs and offerings them packages, mainly foreign visits particularly to European countries.
Industrialist and mining baron Reddy has been chosen as party candidate. The MLAs, who were contacted by TDP, have been asked to go on foreign tours to prevent them from shifting loyalties to TDP before the election and keep alive the winning prospects of the YSR Congress candidate.
It is learnt that a group of MLAs will be sent to Europe trip along with thier families this week. They will return at the the time election in March third week.
