These days, several filmmakers are tapping into nostalgia-driven stories and finding success at the box office. Actor Kiran Abbavaram has now added a suspense thriller touch to such a nostalgic backdrop with his maiden production venture Thimmarajupalli TV.

Directed by Muniraju, the film stars Sai Tej and Veda Jalandharr in the lead roles. The theatrical trailer was released today, and it hints at a rural drama blended with entertainment and suspense.

The trailer opens with villagers pooling money to buy a television for the village, marking a memorable moment as they witness their first-ever TV. However, what begins as a joyful experience soon turns into a conflict when the television becomes a point of dispute between Satish (Sai Tej) and another group.

The central storyline appears to revolve around how this TV becomes the root cause of tension between two factions in the village and what larger chaos unfolds as a result.

Made mostly with newcomers, the film’s setting, tone, and dialogues strongly evoke the late 80s and early 90s era. The trailer also suggests a mix of strong commercial elements along with a rustic narrative.

If the content connects well with the audience, Thimmarajupalli TV could mark a successful start for Kiran Abbavaram as a producer. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on April 17.
