Bollywood actress Disha Patani, who faced criticism for her limited role in Kalki 2898 AD, is set to have a more substantial presence in its upcoming sequel, which is currently filming at a brisk pace. In a recent interview, Disha revealed that her role in the second installment will include mostly dialogue scenes alongside key actors, unlike the first film where she appeared mainly in the song Ta Takkara.

The actress is hopeful that this time her role will be more prominent, especially after her brief appearance in the first film drew unexpected reactions. Many viewers had anticipated a small supporting role for Disha, but her limited screen time led to disappointment among some sections of the audience.

Following the release of Kalki 2898 AD, Disha faced trolling on social media, with her song appearance receiving little appreciation and sparking jokes online. However, she is expected to attract more attention in Kalki 2, which boasts a stellar cast including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Sai Pallavi. The sequel is anticipated to feature a stronger storyline and deeper character arcs. Disha joins fellow Bollywood actresses like Priyanka Chopra, Jahnvi Kapoor, Norah Fatehi, and Murnal Thakur, who have successfully made their mark in Tollywood.
