Prabhas’ highly anticipated film Spirit is turning out to be even more ambitious than initially expected. The project marks the first-ever collaboration between the Rebel Star and blockbuster filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, raising expectations to an all-time high.

The latest buzz doing the rounds suggests that Megastar Chiranjeevi may be roped in to play Prabhas’ father in the film. Reports claim that Chiranjeevi could appear in the second half for a crucial 15-minute sequence, adding immense emotional and commercial weight to the narrative. While there is no official confirmation yet, the mere possibility of witnessing two of Telugu cinema’s biggest icons sharing screen space has already sent fans into a frenzy. Interestingly, similar speculation surfaced earlier and was almost dismissed, but fresh rumors have once again reignited excitement.

On the occasion of New Year, the makers unveiled the first-look poster featuring Prabhas and Triptii Dimri. With Prabhas shown from the back, the striking visual received a phenomenal response across social media and fan circles, further amplifying curiosity around the film.

Spirit is written, edited, and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga, Krishan Kumar, and Prabhakar Reddy Vanga. Designed as a pan-world cinematic spectacle, the film is slated for a grand release on March 5, 2027, in multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean.
