Dhurandhar Sees Dip in Box Office After Crossing ₹1,100 Crore Worldwide

After an extraordinary global run, Ranveer Singh’s spy thriller Dhurandhar is showing signs of slowing down at the box office. The Aditya Dhar-directed film, which recently crossed the ₹1,100 crore mark worldwide, recorded its lowest single-day earnings since release on its fourth Friday.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar collected ₹8.75 crore on Friday, taking its total India net collection to ₹747.75 crore. On January 2, the film registered an overall theatrical occupancy of 18 per cent, with morning shows at 9.65 per cent, and afternoon and evening shows at 20.32 per cent and 21.93 per cent respectively. In the NCR region, occupancy stood at 20 per cent across 921 shows, while Mumbai reported 18.33 per cent across 633 shows.
Despite the recent dip, Dhurandhar has already surpassed the lifetime worldwide collections of Pathaan (₹1,069.85 crore) and Jawan (₹1,163.62 crore). The film currently ranks as the sixth highest-grossing Indian film of all time, though it is yet to surpass global box-office giants like KGF Chapter 2, RRR, Pushpa 2: The Rule, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, and Dangal.
The film continues to hold strong against newer releases, including Tu Meri Main Tera starring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday, as well as Avatar: Ash and Fan.
