Ram Charan is currently occupied with the shooting of Peddi, but the star has already officially announced his next project, tentatively titled #RC17, to be directed by Sukumar. The Pushpa filmmaker is said to have been working on the script for quite some time now.

The latest buzz on social media suggests that Sukumar is considering mounting RC17 as a two-part film, following the successful template he adopted with the Pushpa franchise. While Pushpa: The Rise turned out to be a major hit, Pushpa 2 went on to become a mega blockbuster, reportedly grossing close to ₹1700 crore worldwide and earning a place among the biggest Indian films of all time.

Industry chatter indicates that Sukumar may be keen to repeat this strategy with RC17, expanding the narrative across two films to enhance both scale and box-office potential. However, it is important to note that there has been no official confirmation from the makers regarding the two-part format.

According to reports, RC17 is expected to go on floors either next month or in April, with regular shooting likely to commence after the summer holidays. Ram Charan is also said to be undergoing yet another makeover for the role, further adding to the anticipation surrounding this much-awaited project.
