Director Atlee Kumar is currently busy shooting his highly anticipated next film, tentatively titled AA22, featuring Allu Arjun in the lead role. Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone is set to play the female lead, promising to bring a fresh and surprising avatar to the project.

During a media interaction at the World Pickleball League, Atlee described Deepika as a “lucky charm” and hinted at the unique performance fans can expect from her. On the film’s production progress, he stated, “Just wait for it. You are going to enjoy it to the max.”

The makers are expected to announce official details about the project in the coming days. Produced under the Sun Pictures banner, this film marks a reunion for Atlee and Deepika, who previously collaborated on Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, a massive box-office hit.

Apart from AA22, Deepika will also be seen in King, slated for a theatrical release on December 24, 2026, adding to her lineup of exciting projects.
