One of the key Telugu releases lined up for the Sankranthi festive season is Anaganaga Oka Raju, starring Naveen Polishetty and Meenakshi Chaudhary in the lead roles. The film is produced by Sithara Entertainment’s Naga Vamsi and is slated for a theatrical release on January 14.

Ahead of its release, the film has successfully completed its censor formalities. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), after reviewing the Maari directorial, has awarded Anaganaga Oka Raju a U/A certificate, making it a suitable family entertainer for the festive season. Children can also watch the film under parental guidance.

Adding to the positive buzz, the makers have locked an engaging runtime of 2 hours and 20 minutes, which is considered ideal for a light-hearted entertainer. The trailer has already struck a chord with audiences, highlighting punchy comedy revolving around a man’s marriage proposals and his pursuit of love in Bhimavaram.

With its strong comedic setup and festive timing, Anaganaga Oka Raju appears well-positioned to attract family audiences. However, given the recent ticket price hike controversies surrounding films like The Raja Saab and Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, applying for a similar hike may not work in the film’s favour. That said, Naga Vamsi is known for making calculated and audience-friendly decisions, and it remains to be seen what strategy he adopts for this Sankranthi release.
