The shocking attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has sent shockwaves throughout the country this morning. The actor was reportedly stabbed six times by an unknown assailant during a robbery attempt at his Bandra residence in Mumbai. The incident took place in the early hours of Thursday, and Saif was rushed to the hospital in an auto by his son, Ibrahim Ali Khan.

According to the latest reports, the attacker demanded Rs. 1 crore during the confrontation. The Mumbai Police shared a statement revealing that the culprit entered Saif’s house around 2:30 am and got into a heated argument with one of the house staff. Saif intervened to settle the situation, but the assailant then attacked him, stabbing him six times before fleeing the scene.

Saif was quickly taken to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery under the care of Dr. Niraj Uttamani. His condition is currently being monitored closely, with more updates expected soon. The police have registered a case, and investigations are ongoing.

Initial images of the intruder, captured on CCTV, have also been released by the police as part of their investigation.
