In a shocking turn of events, nearly 120 crew members working on Ranveer Singh’s highly anticipated action thriller Dhurandhar were hospitalized due to suspected food poisoning. The incident occurred on Sunday evening in Leh, where the film’s unit is currently shooting.
According to reports, several crew members complained of severe abdominal pain, vomiting, and headaches shortly after consuming food served on set. They were immediately rushed to the Sajal Narbu Memorial (SNM) Hospital in Leh, where doctors confirmed food poisoning as the cause. Over 600 crew members had reportedly eaten the same meal.
Fortunately, most of the affected members were stabilized and discharged after treatment. Authorities are awaiting the results of food sample tests to determine the exact source of contamination. It remains unclear if any of the film’s lead actors, including Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, or Madhavan, were among those affected.
Despite this setback, the shooting of Dhurandhar is expected to continue as planned. The film, directed on a massive scale, is slated for a December 5, 2025 release. Its teaser, unveiled on Ranveer Singh’s birthday a few weeks ago, has already impressed fans with glimpses of intense action and political drama.
