In a bizarre incident, people belonging to two different communities clashed over a proposed park in West Godavari district in AP, which led to six people admitting in hospital.
Going into details, in Uradallapelam village of West Godavari district, a park was proposed to be constructed in a government land. While one community people demanded the park be named after Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan, the other community people opposed this citing that the park has the statue of BR Ambedkar in it and that it should be named after him.
This altercation led to clash of the two community people. Six people got injured as a result. Police had to intervene to control the situation. Higher authorities are currently holding discussions with the leaders of the two communities to find a solution acceptable for both.
