Hyderabad’s oldest and the best Multiplex, Prasads Multiplex opened its advance booking for Baahubali this morning at 9 AM. Movie Lovers came there as early as 6 AM and started to stand in Queue for the ticket counters to open. The Queues extended for almost 2 kilometers and no sooner did the counters open, there is a stampede as well.
The bookings were open till Tuesday and were sold out in a jiffy. The online booking also is no different with tickets sold out in a flash. All the online ticketing sites got crashed due to heavy traffic. Majority of first day tickets were also blocked for VIPs via recommendations and obligations. Only Big Cinemas and Prasads opened their advance booking till now.
Other Multiplex chains PVR, Cinepolis, Inox etc are expected to open their booking by evening. The situation will not be any different. With multiple bookings getting difficult, and most of the tickets in Single screen theaters going in to black market, Fans and movie lovers are worried if they will the magnum opus film on the first day.
