2 MPs, 2 MLAs likely to quit YSRCP

In what is seen as a major set back to beleaguered YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his party YSR Congress, 2 MPs and 2 MLAs are likely to quit his party. If reports are to be believed, three of them have serious plans to quit and already setting ground to join BJP. The 3-member list includes Nellore MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, Aatmakur MLA Mekapati Goutham Reddy and Bapatla MLA Kona Raghupati. The fourth name doing the rounds is that Araku MP Kothapalli Geetha.
Kothapalli Geetha has been staying away from all YSRCP activities from a while and openly stated that she will continue to work with TDP and BJP. She has already met Naidu twice and has been maintaining that development is only possible with the leadership of Chandrababu. A day after its party founding member Konathala Ramakrishna quit YSRCP, the reports of 2 MPs and 2 MLAs joining the bandwagon is definitely irking to Jagan and his hardcore fans.
It may be recalled that already Nandyal MP SPY Reddy has ditched Jagan soon after the election results and joined TDP fold even before Naidu sworn-in as Chief Minister. Already several senior leaders like Sabbam Hari, Dhadi Veerabhadra Rao, Jupudi Prabhakar have said bid adieu and we hear that many more people are likely to follow. We hear that Jagan Reddy’s one-man show and his “disrespect” towards senior leaders is said to be driving force for leaders to walk out of the party. It’s high time Jagan should realize and reconcile his way of function.
