Pitting allegations of game fixing in 2011 world cup, wherein Sri Lanka was defeated by India in the final match, veteran Sri Lankan skipper Arjuna Ranatunga demanded probe in the matter.

The former skipper in a Facebook video post, which has gone viral, stated that he was startled with Sri Lanka six wicket defeat in the finals held at Wankhede in Mumbai.

The player revealed that he went into stress post the final match and later had qualms about the defeat.

Sri Lankan players, who did batting first, secured 274-6 off 50 overs. Indian legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar was caught with 18. India turned the game and defeat Lanka.

However, Indian players like Gautam Gambhir and Ashish Nehra have rubbished the allegations of Ranatunga.
