Telugu film industry is also entering into the trend of making biopics. There is a film being made on the actress Savitri now. The makers are in the final stages of pre-production, and the casting hunt is going on! Nag Ashwin, who made his debut with the film Yevade Subrahmanyam, will direct the film. Bollywood actresses Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan and south actress Anushka Shetty, are heard to be in a race for the lead role in a biopic on legendary actress Savitri. Nithya Menen is also in consideration for the film. The film will be simultaneously made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. The official confirmation about the female lead would be revealed soon.
