After shelving the long-discussed Dadasaheb Phalke biopic, Bollywood blockbuster duo Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir Khan have reportedly shifted their focus to a sequel of their iconic youthful comedy 3 Idiots. Released in 2009, the film emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema and later earned cult classic status.
According to Bollywood media reports, pre-production work on the sequel is already in full swing, with the makers planning to officially launch the project in 2026. It is also being reported that the tentative working title for the sequel has been locked as 4 Idiots.
