Veteran actress Jayaprada, who is making her comeback to Telugu cinema after over a decade, has reportedly taken sizable risks in order to impress audiences in her comeback.
Jayaprada will be next seen in the upcoming fantasy-action film, “Suvarna Sundari”. The film boasts of heavy special effects and numerous action sequences, say the makers. They added that an uncompromising Jayaprada has done all of her stunts on her own, without any body double. They praised the senior actress for her commitment and passion for cinema.
Suvarna Sundari has Poorna and Sakshi Chowdary in key roles. Jayaprada essays the character of Poorna’s daughter in the film. With the tagline – “Charitra Bhavishyathuni Ventaduthundi”, the film dabbles with past and future events, and Jayaprada’s role is said to be the one that connects the past and the future. The director compared her character with Sivagami of “Baahubali”.
Directed by debutante Surya, Suvarna Sundari is expected to release by this year end.
