70 Engg Colleges To Shutdown In Telangana!

In a major development more than 60-70 colleges may soon shut their operations in Telangana. According to sources out of 174 colleges, these colleges were denied affiliation by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad just before the start of EAMCET counselling. 

Earlier team of technical experts from IIT Hyderabad,BITS Pilani, Hyderbad campus, Osmania University and other polytechnic colleges inspected 164 of 174 colleges. These are the same colleges whose management approached court against the decision of JNTU. 

Ten colleges already closed and many of them shockingly denied permission to experts to inspect their premises. Even JNTU-H should explain to court how they denied affiliation to these colleges were renewed last year when it refused this year.
