The makers of Ram Charan’s much-anticipated film Peddi had initially announced March 27th, 2026 as the release date when the first glimpse was unveiled earlier this year. However, speculation about potential delays has frequently made headlines, with reports suggesting that pending shooting formalities might push the release. In response, the producer quickly reiterated the March 27th release date through a Chikiri thank note.

Adding further clarity, Ram Charan himself confirmed the release date during his speech at the trailer launch event of Champion in Hyderabad this evening. When asked for updates on Peddi, he assured fans that shooting is progressing smoothly and humorously mentioned that Champion will release first, followed by Sankranti films, before Peddi joins the race.

Recent reports had speculated that Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh might take the March 27th slot if Peddi faced delays. However, both the producer and now Ram Charan have officially confirmed that the film is on track for its early summer release. The team, led by director Buchi Babu, is reportedly working at a rapid pace to meet the release date and ensure Ram Charan fans get a special birthday treat.

Peddi has been generating strong buzz since the release of its first glimpse earlier this year. The first single, Chikiri Chikiri, released in multiple languages, received an overwhelmingly positive response, further elevating anticipation for the film. Trade analysts are expecting a massive box-office opening due to the high hype surrounding the project.
