In a incident which shocked Hyderabadis, an unidentified man opened fire at Aurobindo Pharma vice president in early hours at KBR Park, Banjara Hills on Wednesday. The shocking incident happened when Nityananda Reddy, VP of Aurobindo Pharma was opening the door of his Audi car after completing his morning walk at KBR park.
Suddenly a stranger attacked him with AK 47 and opened fire. Nityananda Reddy got alert and attacked him with his gun following which the stranger fled away. However in the process he left a bag in the car back seat along with AK 47 rifle. Eyewitness say 15 rounds of fire was exchanged and say no one was injured.
This sent shock waves across the city and police rushed to the spot and started investigation. Nityananda Reddy said he can identify the man saying that he was 5ft 3 in tall. Reddy said “He attempted open fire while I was opening my car door and about to sit in diver’s seat. I am lucky enough to escape fire very narrowly ,”
