These days it became tough for star heroes’ films to recover the investments much before release. And if it is the case of small-films and secondary league heroes, then they have to wait for release to happen, and then witness a super success, then recover the money. But hero Sundeep Kishan is doing well in this aspect it seems.
Made on a budget of 4.5 crores, his latest movie ‘Joru’ that is carved by Kumar Nagendra of ‘Gundello Godari’ fame got decent profits pretty much before release if we have to believe. In fact producers have spent 4.5 cr on making of movie while an additional 1 cr nearly is being depleted for promotions.
However theatrical rights of the movie fetched around 5.3+ crores from distributors and whatever the amount satellite rights make that will go into profits only. It is expected that roughly the satellite price is over 2 crores and film’s success decides how much more it collects. But how much distributors will be able to recover from theaters post the movie’s release talk about the film’s real worth. Joru featuring Sandeep Kishan, Rashi Khanna, Brahmanandam, Saptagiri and others is hitting screens tomorrow, November 6 at your nearest theatres. Watch this space for our review.
