Maniratnam who once churned out classics off late is struggling to make a mark on audience. He seem to have completely lost touch and is giving duds disappointing fans. His recent film, Ok Bangaram, a romantic love story some how is giving hopes as the audio is impressive. We got the inside talk of the film from a person who watched the film in censor screening.
The story is about the live-in relationship between a couple, Dulquer and Nitya Menen. Dulquer was supposed to fly to Dubai but before going there meets Nitya and they live in a flat in Mumbai. The events that followed is the rest of the film.
Sources say the movie is more of a class film which will appeal to A center audience. Even that class audience will have issues due to slow paced narration. It may be totally a failure with B and C class audience. Going by the talk, the movie may end up as a below average film. Dil Raju is releasing the film in good number of theaters this Friday.
