Nagarjuna’s New movie has been Stopped Temporarily?

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who won global recognition for her role in Citadel: Honey Bunny, recently shared insights into her approach to choosing film projects. As fans eagerly await her next venture, Samantha opened up about why she has not signed any Tamil films recently.

When asked about her absence from Tamil cinema, Samantha explained, “It’s easy to accept many films, but I’m now at a stage in my career where I want every project to leave a lasting impact. If I don’t feel that passion and conviction, I can’t commit to it.” Her last Tamil film was Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal (2022), and since then, she has focused on projects that offer both personal and professional growth.

Samantha’s recent roles in The Family Man 2 and Citadel: Honey Bunny have allowed her to explore unique and challenging characters, raising her expectations for future work. She praised the creators, Raj and DK, saying, “They have spoiled me by offering roles that push me to deliver more each day. Working on such projects is extremely fulfilling. If I don’t feel that sense of challenge, I’m not interested in taking it on.”

Despite overcoming significant health challenges, Samantha made a strong return to the screen with Kushi (2023) and the action-packed Citadel: Honey Bunny (2024), which marked her comeback after a hiatus. Her portrayal of Honey in Citadel earned widespread acclaim, and now, Samantha is preparing for an ambitious new project, Rakt Brahmand – The Bloody Kingdom, where she will share the screen with stars like Aditya Roy Kapoor, Wamiqa Gabbi, Ali Fazal, and Nikitin Dheer. Samantha’s dedication to meaningful and challenging roles continues to drive her passion for acting as she embraces exciting new opportunities.
