Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s Eid blockbuster Bajarangi Bhaijaan is still unstoppable at the worldwide box-office even after amassing more than 500 crore gross. With the film’s staggering success, rumors were rife that a Telugu remake is in the pipeline with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan reprising Salman’s role.
While there has been no official clarification or denial on the above rumor, all the excited gossipmongers can now take a chill pill. Looks like the Telugu version of Bajarangi Bhaijaan is already in the making. Senior director Kodi Ramakrishna is now making a Telugu-Tamil bilingual titled Rani Ranamma with his Ma Palle Gopaludu hero Action King Arjun and voluptuous beauty Raai Lakshmi.
Just like in Bajarangi Bhaijaan, in Rani Ranamma too, Arjun accompanies a little Sri Lankan girl in india away from her parents to her homeland. Arjun will be seen as a Tamilian living in Telugu land. The unit will soon leave for Sri Lanka to shoot crucial scenes. One must admire Kodi Ramakrishna’s timing in placing his film amidst all the hype and hoopla surrounding Bajarangi Bhaijaan.
