Open letter by Puri Jagannadh about Chiru 150th Movie

Vijay Sethupathi, affectionately known as Makkal Selvam by his fans, is one of the most talented and versatile actors in Indian cinema today. His upcoming film, directed by Pandiraj, will see him take on the role of a Parotta Master. The actor recently took to social media to share his fun experience experimenting with different parotta recipes in preparation for his role.

Though the shooting for the film has not yet begun, Vijay has already started his preparations. Reflecting on the experience, he shared, “It was a lovely experience. Very fun and exciting!” He went on to describe his culinary experiments, stating, “I’ve been experimenting with different types of parottas for the film with Pandiraj. I tried making Watermelon Parotta, Pineapple Parotta, Parotta Pongal, Coffee Dosa, and more with Nithya Menen. We set up a Parotta stall at their office. While the Pineapple Parotta didn’t turn out well, I had better success with Kuthu Parotta. I also tried Parotta Pongal and Coffee Dosa, both of which turned out great.”

Nithya Menen, who will also feature in the film, joined him in these culinary adventures, and fans are eagerly awaiting the movie’s release. Let’s hope this unique combination of talent and flavors results in another blockbuster!
