Teasers and theatrical trailers play key role in selling a movie. In fact, these videos make first and foremost impression on spectators and buyers. However, our Telugu filmmaker Gunasekhar missed the logic for two times.
Gunasekhar’s latest creation Rudhramadevi had encouraging buzz until release of its trailer. Ever since the trailer hit online and TVs, scene was totally reversed. Poor quality of CGI work had really shocked everyone.
Another blunder committed by Gunasekhar is he included almost similar visuals that of Telugu version in Rudhramadevi’s Hindi trailer. Movie goers thought he would release a fresh trailer for Hindi version to showcase his hard work on VFX since past few months. One wonders why Gunasekhar is hiding the selling items- Rana, Anushka and the war episodes.
We know that, Rudhramadevi is a historical film with many war sequences. So, to present the film as a war based, Guna should have included as many as war sequences in the trailer like Rajamouli did for Baahubali.
More importantly, he should have concentrated in displaying Rana and Anushka mightily as they have become familiar to Bollywood with Baahubali.Interim, Rudhramadevi is set for release in a week days, still there is no development in promotions.
