Sankranthiki Vasthunam, starring Venkatesh in the lead role, has turned out to be a massive blockbuster in Tollywood for 2025. Initially released with moderate expectations, the film has exceeded all predictions, achieving extraordinary box office milestones.

Marking a significant achievement, Sankranthiki Vasthunam has become Venkatesh’s first film to cross the ₹200 crore mark. In its latest feat, it has overtaken Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya, making it the fourth highest-grossing Sankranti release in Tollywood history.

This year’s Sankranti box office saw fierce competition, with Game Changer and Daaku Maharaaj clashing alongside Sankranthiki Vasthunam. Despite the tough battle, Venkatesh’s film emerged as the biggest winner, outperforming its rivals and delivering significant profits for distributors and producers.

After 14 days in theaters, the film collected ₹2.75 crore on its 14th day, bringing its total domestic net earnings to ₹159.75 crore, as per Sacnilk reports. The gross domestic collection, including taxes, has reached ₹188.50 crore, while its overseas success has added ₹32.10 crore, bringing the worldwide total to an impressive ₹220.60 crore in just two weeks.

With its remarkable run, Sankranthiki Vasthunam has now surpassed Waltair Veerayya (₹220.16 crore) to claim the fourth spot among the highest-grossing Sankranti releases in Tollywood. The film is also poised to break another major milestone by surpassing Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru (₹225.06 crore), likely within the next day, securing its place as the third highest-grossing Sankranti film.

With its continued momentum, Sankranthiki Vasthunam is well on track to breach the ₹250 crore mark before the end of its theatrical run, further solidifying its status as one of the biggest hits in Venkatesh’s career.
