Victory Venkatesh’s latest film Sankranthi Ki Vastunnam, directed by Anil Ravipudi, has been receiving an overwhelmingly positive response since its release today, marking a successful comeback at the box office.

The film was met with high expectations even before its release, and the audience reaction has lived up to the buzz. However, in a candid interview, Venkatesh reflected on the disappointment of his previous project, Saindhav, which had failed to meet the expectations of both fans and critics. Released during the Sankranthi season last year, Saindhav failed to make an impact and was ultimately considered a flop.

Looking back on what went wrong with Saindhav, Venkatesh shared, “It was not ideal to release the film during the festive period. We aimed to create a unique world, something akin to Gotham City, but we were unable to bring that vision to life as we had hoped. Also, my character’s inability to save his daughter might have left the audience feeling disappointed.”

Despite the film’s setback, Venkatesh emphasized that he thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with director Sailesh Kolanu. “It was a great experience working with Sailesh, and I appreciate the effort and creativity he brought to the table,” he added.
