Tollywood lyricist Anantha Sriram has been in the news recently due to his speech during the Haindava Sankharavam Sabha.

While some hardcore Hindutva-based individuals are praising him, another section of society is ridiculing him by revisiting his older songs. Notable mentions include “Young Yama Young Yama Iragesuko” from Yamadonga, which some believe insults the Hindu deity Yama Dharma Raja, and “Digu Digu Natha,” an item song that is perceived as a parody of a popular Ayyappa devotional song.

Adding to the controversy, his personal issues have also surfaced in the public spotlight. A YouTube channel recently highlighted a legal case filed by Chegondi Hara Rama Jogayya, the paternal uncle of Anantha Sriram.

According to the case, Rama Jogayya has accused Anantha Sriram of illegally claiming his property, creating a legal dispute. The case details reveal that Sriram’s grandfather distributed the family property among his children during his lifetime. Since Rama Jogayya has no children, Anantha Sriram allegedly attempted to claim ownership of his uncle’s property, asserting that it was passed from their grandfather to his father, not his uncle.

The matter remains unresolved, and the legal proceedings are ongoing.
