YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy is reeling under the pressure of operation akarsh unleashed by ruling TDP after he boasted that with in one hour he will topple Chandra Babu Naidu’s government.
Right after that many of his MLAs ditched him and joined the ruling party. Even before he could recover from this shock,TDP is planning to give Rajya Sabha shock to Jagan. It is readying plans to field a businessman in the forthcoming RS polls with the support of Rebel MLAs.Minimum 10 MLAs need to propose the name of each candidate to Rajya Sabha.
Elections for the four vacant seats for Rajya Sabha from Andhra Pradesh will be held in May. TDP-BJP combine which has 106 votes can send three candidates,while YSRCP can send one with 67 MMLAs.
Now YSRCP is reduced to 59 and TDP MP CM .Ramesh is confident that the party can get another 30 MLAs support who are fedup with Jagan. TDP is planning to field powerful candidate to convince more YSRCP MLAs to vote for him and shock YSRCP official candidate Vijaya Sai Reddy,right hand of Jagan.
