During the confrontation, the intruder attacked Saif with a sharp weapon before fleeing the scene. The actor is currently receiving treatment at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai.

Sharing his concern, actor NTR, who recently starred alongside Saif in Devara: Part 1 and will reprise his role in Devara: Part 2, expressed his solidarity on social media. In a heartfelt tweet, he said:
“Shocked and saddened to hear about the attack on Saif sir. Wishing and praying for his speedy recovery and good health.”
