In what may set the tone for a multi-polar contest in the next general elections, Jana Sena’s founder and Tollywood power star Pawan Kalyan has reportedly decided to start a massive padayatra-cum bus tour of Andhra Pradesh state shortly. This has proven to be a big twist.There are reports that the`Power Star’ is very keen to strengthen his party in every corner of Andhra Pradesh. He would be covering all the 175 assembly constituencies and that too in a phased manner.
A leading film producer is reportedly making arrangements for a state wide tour.Jana Sena leaders feel AP is now in a dire need of a credible leader who would be highlighting the pressing issues and hence, they feel Pawan Kalyan is the only alternative,lamenting how TDP government’s failure to convince Centre has pushed the state into financial crisis.
Jana Sena feels that the presence of Pawan Kalyan in active politics will ensure that Andhra Pradesh gets special category status sooner. At the same time Pawan Kalyan is yet to come with his own verdict on the state and central governments. Let us see how things take shape.
