Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, it appears, is hell bent on finishing off rival YSRCP. Not just content with welcoming those willing to join the TDP, he is also going whole hog luring the MLAs. Already a score of YSRCP MLAs have jumped the fence. Now, he is trying even to lure the defeated MLAs with a solid base. The case in point is Kapu strongman from West Godavari’s Narsapur.

Chandrababu personally called former Minister Kothapalli Subbarayudu over phone and invited him into the TDP. Kothapalli, who began his career as a TDP man, was a minister in both NTR and Chandrababu cabinets. He later joined Chiru’s Praja Rajyam and thence to the Congress, later he shifted to the YSRCP.

With his leaving, the YSRCP would be leaderless in Narsapuram. This is Chandrababu’s way of pulling the rug from under the enemy’s feat.

“Avunu.. Telusu.. Sorry,” says Rashmika

December 21, 2024

Rashmika Mandanna, one of the leading actresses in the film industry, is currently basking in the success of Pushpa 2: The Rule. Recently, during an interview, the actress made a slight misstep when discussing her admiration for Thalapathy Vijay. While speaking about her early experiences with Vijay’s films, she mentioned that Ghilli was a remake of Mahesh Babu’s Pokiri, which is incorrect.

Rashmika shared, “Ghilli. You know why I keep saying that I love Vijay Thalapathy, sir? Because it is the first film I saw him in a theater. Ghilli is a film… I think I recently learned that it’s a remake of a film called Pokiri. I didn’t know. So, I watched this, and Appadi Podu… the song, oh my god. The majority of my life, I was performing on that song.”

However, Ghilli is actually a remake of the Telugu film Okkadu and not Pokiri. After realizing her error, Rashmika quickly acknowledged her mistake and issued an apology, expressing regret for the confusion caused.

Despite her good-natured acknowledgment, the slip-up didn’t go unnoticed by netizens, who took to social media to troll the actress. Nevertheless, Rashmika’s prompt apology demonstrated her humility and willingness to admit when she’s wrong, earning her praise for handling the situation with grace.
