Pawan Kalyan Talks Film Delays and ‘OG’ Chants at Press Meet
Pawan Kalyan, the DCM of Andhra Pradesh, addressed the press on several topics, including updates on his upcoming films and the recent controversy surrounding Pushpa 2. The actor-turned-politician spoke about his busy schedule, balancing both political duties and film commitments.
When asked about the “OG” chants during political meetings, Pawan Kalyan responded with a smile but admitted that he finds the chants somewhat intimidating. He explained that “OG” refers to Original Gangster, a story set in 1980s Bombay. The actor revealed that he had asked the film’s team to proceed with major portions of the shoot without him, promising to join them later. Pawan Kalyan also noted that he had given the makers plenty of time to progress on his three films, but the production teams were unable to meet deadlines. For instance, the Ustaad script wasn’t ready, causing delays.
Despite the challenges, Pawan Kalyan confirmed that Hari Hara Veera Mallu will be the first of the three films to release, with only 8 or 9 days of shooting left to complete. While he remains committed to finishing all three films, it remains unclear when they will be completed.
