Nandamuri Balakrishna’s much-anticipated film Daaku Maharaj is set to release this Sankranti, and the excitement surrounding the movie is palpable. Fans are hopeful that the film will continue Balayya’s impressive streak of hits, following the success of Akhanda, Veera Simha Reddy, and Bhagavanth Kesari. Directed by Bobby, Daaku Maharaj has already amassed over 70 crore in theatrical business, fueling optimism that it could soon join the prestigious 100 crore share club.

Currently, Balakrishna’s highest first-day share in Telugu states is held by Veera Simha Reddy, which earned 25.35 crore, followed by Akhanda at 15.39 crore. Bhagavanth Kesari also made a strong impact with 14.36 crore on its opening day, while NTR Kathanayakudu contributed 7.6 crore. Although films like Ruler and NTR Mahanayakudu had more modest openings, they still remain part of Balayya’s top initial earnings.
