As everyone expected, talked and feared, the new President of United States Donald Trump turning out be more harmful for immigrants from Muslim countries in the world. Mr. Trump, who’s making sure to deliver poll promises with his actions, is now working towards achieving it.
With a view to ban immigrants from foreign countries, particularly Muslim majority nations, Trump is expected to sign an executive order soon. However, a vetting power is being designed to allow investors and those linked to his business. Although many countries in the world were expecting this policy from Trump, it wasn’t intended so soon.
Apart from refugees from Syria and immigrants from six Muslim countries, namely Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen, are most likely to face this suspension for at least 30 days. When the business man turned president was asked why other Muslim nations like Pakistan, Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia was exempted from the ban list, he replied, ‘travelers from these countries will undergo a high level of immigration check.’
He further went on to add ‘it’s not the policy of US to ban Muslims from entering our nation but, we will continue to ban them in view of growing global threat from terrorism, which majorly sustains in these counties.’ Signaling that it will be a daunting task to enter United States, Trump wants it block that ‘easy fly’ option to their country. Time will answer how badly this move by Donald Trump is going to impact America and its international interests.
On top it, the Republican Party member also had his views on Mexico’s Great Wall across the border and how he will make them pay for it.
